Septic service areas tend to be county-shaped, because septic rules are. This one is no exception. The base is Olympia, and the working radius is roughly thirty minutes out, which covers Thurston County’s septic country: Lacey and Tumwater next door, Yelm to the southeast, Tenino down old Highway 99, and Rochester out in the Chehalis valley, plus the unincorporated land between them where most of the county’s tanks actually live. Each area page below covers what septic looks like in that particular place, because a lake lot in Lacey and a floodplain parcel in Rochester age very differently.
